Underlooter
Privacy policy
Last updated: 10 July 2026. This policy covers the Underlooter game on Android and in the browser.
Underlooter is a single-player game by LazySaiyan (contact: alazysaiyan@gmail.com). Almost everything happens on your device. The two exceptions, the optional online leaderboards and, on Android, ads, are described below.
Local storage
Your game progress (gold, upgrades, level stars, an in-progress dive) and device preferences (volume, haptics) are saved only on your device, in the app's private storage, or your browser's local storage for the web version. This data never leaves your device. Uninstalling the app, or clearing site data in your browser, permanently deletes it.
Online leaderboards (optional)
Android version: leaderboards are provided by Google Play Games Services. If you choose to sign in with your Google Play Games profile, your scores (deepest level reached and total stars) are submitted to Google and shown under your Play Games gamer name. Sign-in is optional; if you never sign in, no scores are transmitted. Google's handling of Play Games data is covered by Google's own privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Web (browser) version: the game includes global "Top Divers" leaderboards. If you choose to submit a score, we send a callsign you pick together with your score to our leaderboard provider, SilentWolf, which stores it so the boards can be shown to all players. It is sent only when you submit, and it contains no name, email, contacts, location, or device identifiers. If you never submit a score, nothing is transmitted.
Ads (Android version only)
The Android version shows optional rewarded ads (you watch an ad to earn an in-game reward) served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, AdMob may collect your device's advertising ID and related usage data. Where required, for example in the EEA and UK, a consent form is shown before any ads load, and you can decline personalized ads. This applies to the Android app only; the web (browser) version does not use AdMob. See Google's policy for details: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads
Children
The game is not directed at children, and no personal data (name, email, contacts, or precise location) is collected from anyone. Any ad content on Android is served in accordance with Google's policies.
Changes
If a future update changes any of the above, this policy will be updated first and the change noted in the app's store listing.
